    Oldest Pontiac Found

    Sunday, September 13, 2009, 11:31 PM [General]

The Fairfield County Concours d'Elegance in Westport, Connecticut wanted to include Pontiac in this year's showing, so they went looking for the oldest example possible. They tracked down a dozen Pontiacs from the brand's inaugural year (1926). Of those, they found a 1926 two-door coach from Minnetonka, Minnesota was the oldset in the land .

Co-owned by Roy Jaszczak & his son Paul, the Series 6-27 is in good running condition and is a true "survivor"! All it's ever had done to it was a clean-up, a valve job, and replacement tires for the ones that still had a Lindbergh-era logo on them.

To honor their stewardship of the oldest Pontiac, the car will be shipped to the Concours and the Jaszczak's will be flown to New York where they'll drive the car up to Westport for the show. The Concours will pick up their tab for this trip.

GM "Puts a Bullet" in Chief Pontiac

    Tuesday, April 28, 2009, 05:19 AM [General]

A new era has dawned. Green-weenies rule the road in their silly golf carts & the Hi-Performance vehicle is on it's death bed, as evidenced by the execution of the Pontiac brand today.

The body of the legendary brand that brought the Muscle Car to America's highways & byways, was unceremoniously dumped by the side of the road.

Long Live the Muscle Car!!!       Buy 'em while you still can! .

BTW- Here's a seldom seen photo of the Prez as a toddler, notice the old Poncho on the other side of the driveway?

Maybe he never should've left that stupid tricycle behind...
