Hello, Old Car fans!   My name is Steve and I can't remember a time I wasn't interested in cars in some form.   I did bodywork in the late '80s and early '90s until I got interested in landscaping for a living.   I have also done many car repairs and still do when worth my efforts.  We all know some of these projects are better left to professionals with proper tools and tricks in the long run!  I also have a lifetime hobby building models of automotive subjects.  I am interested mainly in '50s, '60s, and '70s cars and trucks.  Lately I've been building a couple car haulers, a Ford 4x4 van, and attempting to make a limo from several '63 Corvette Roadster kits.   I usually make it to the local car show put on by Specialty Car Enthusiasts out of Marshfield, Wisconsin and sometimes go to Iola.  I'm going more since I got my Nikon Coolpix L3 a couple years ago.   I mainly photo cars that are unusual subjects or like models I plan to build.  I especially like to photo cars that are unusually nice AND like models I plan to build!!! This is all about reference material and helps me build a model that's accurate as well as it's built.   Accuracy is important when doing factory stock builds as far as I'm concerned.   Maybe I'll meet some of you at a show!
