    Where did summer go?

    Saturday, November 7, 2009, 09:35 AM [General]

Its already November! It seems like summer came and went so fast. The car show season is over and my part time auto appraisal business has slowed down. I thought this year would be a slower year for my appraisal business but actually I ended up with the 2nd highest amount of appraisals in our network. I was hoping to be the highest but I feel I gave it my best. I am very happy considering the state of the economy.

I attended numerous shows this year from AACA events such as Hershey and the Gettysburg show. I went to Woodward Dream cruise for the first time. I must say I was shocked at the amount of collector cars present there! I also attended three major Mopar shows this year, Carlisle, Mopar Nats and Monster Mopar weekend in St Louis. All three are nice shows but I really think Carlisle has the best show. I think that even Monster Mopar Weekend was a great show, the parts and people there seemed much better than at the Mopar Nats. Well I am off to write yet another appraisal, this time on a 1966 Mustang.

I am interested in mostly Mopar stuff and antique fire trucks. I will be posting various pictures over this winter. Check back often.
