Well, some of you may have seen the pictures of the metropolitan my girlfriend just bought .[ what a gal, she doesn't  complain about my auto habits! she adds to them!] That makes one more thing to get immersed in. I haven't even driven my mustang yet due to learning the ins and outs of a car made in england. There is a slight learning curve, but I am sure I will adapt! I feel like calling the parts place and saying " give me one of everything!" I don't think this thing has had anything done to it in thirty years. I guess I'll have to get started. I need to put up a current picture . It looks alot better already.  Elbow grease go's a long way!

    is it just me?

    Friday, April 25, 2008, 11:08 PM [General]

For those of you that have been following along, which is probably somewhere close to no one, I got my drip rails the other day along with the other things. The time arrived that I could put them on and as I was about to snap them in place, it struck me something wasn't right. It didn't take long to figure out what that was. They had a few extra bends in them! Maybe some one sat on them. Here is where the title of this post comes in. Is it just me or does some of the others of you have this same problem? Nothing seems to fit like it should or I wait for something only to have it show up mangled or missing pieces or in the model year I am working on there must have been a mid-year production change because mine doesn't seem to be like the one in the parts book. It always ends up setting everything back until at least july fourth, when everyone else is out tooling around in their rides, I am staring at mine sitting on jackstands or something!  So tell me, is it just me?
