OldCarsWeekly.com just ran an article about a German man who torched his BMW in a protest over rising gas prices. With the car show season in full swing and many folks hoping to participate in cruises across the country, we want to know how gas prices are impacting you?

As far as an effect on myself and my old car, it really has none. I don't put a lot of miles on it, and it's only out for 5 months of the year. So I am going to enjoy those 5 months. It does effect my everyday driving. It makes you think twice if it's any distance if it's worth the trip, or try to plan what you need to do so as to avoid going back to an area you've already been to.

I just read that Prince Charles is operating his Aston Martin on wine...maybe I can figure out how to get my old Ford to run a corn based fuel that isn't E85 if you get my drift!http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=128408

There was a company near where I live that converts diesel motors to run on used vegetable oil. does anyone know if this is safe for the engine?
