I bit the bullet this past weekend and took my three daughters to see the new Speedracer movie. I grew up watching the adventures of the Racer family and was really excited about introducing my daughters to this part of my childhood.
However, I was pretty disappointed in the new movie. While I am a big fan of John Goodman, I was not impressed with the movie. For starters it was hard to follow for those that didn't already understand the storyline and while the graphics were pretty intense at times, I'm afraid that they missed the mark with this one. Despite the hard to follow plot, the Mach 5 looked very cool.
