Since the show will be happening right outside my office window It's a sure bet that I'll be there. Last year was my first chance to check out this great show. What is your favorite part of the show. And what should be added to make it better?

You know I'll be there. AS98-101. The only problem I have is that I'm there selling, and I don't have the time to walk around and enjoy the show as much as I would like to. My son and I will close up at about 6:00 and then I will check out the car corral, and some of the swappers that are still open, but a lot of the show cars are gone for the day by the time I get there. Also, it would be nice if they had their auction on Sunday instead of Saturday. The auction takes a lot of people away from the swappers and the car corral, and if they had it on Sunday, which is normally a slow day- so you start packing up early, it would probably bring more people around, which would keep us around longer. Just and idea.
But all in all, Iola puts on one great show and it's one that I just wouldn't miss |

I was out near the Iola Old Car Show grounds over the weekend and I'm already itching for the show!I hear that they are planning a big "finned" Mopar display again this year even though the Ruffalo cars probably won't be back in full force like last year. Is anyone planning on bringing a car to the car corral? I have thought about brining one, but I am not sure it is worth bringing it along. What kind of experience have you all had with the corral?

Your best bet is probably emailing the folks over at the Iola Old Car Show office. You can find their email at www.iolaoldcarshow.com. I haven't been able to find a vendor list.

I just noticed that there is a special section of pre-1936 cars used in the recent filming of the “Public Enemies” movie. This is very cool I can't wait to check it out. What are ya'll looking forward to at this year's show?I know that I will be checking out Bortz's 1954 Dodge Firearrow coupe and the fried cheese curds.

Does anyone know if that beautiful Duesenberg will be back this year?
While it may sound strange, between the Duesy and the Bumper boys display...it is a hard show to beat! Angelo, I just had to ask...are you looking to buy another Kidilac this year? |

Don't let a little rain slow keep you from coming to Iola today. Looks like things will clear off this afternoon...plus when it rains the deals seem to get even better out in the swap meet!

Well, just sent in for my spaces, who else is going to be at Iola this year and how long have you been attending? I have been there since 1986, only missed two years since. |
