Does anyone know what's happening with Miss Belvedere?

I was driving by a scrapyard the other day and happened to look over at all the rusty heaps sitting out there and it got me to thinking...What ever happened to the '57 Belvedere that was buried in Tulsa?I know that Ultraone was going to try and de-rust her. But after that I kinda lost track.
Any ideas what's happening?

Oldmopar, Norms Coupe from the P15-D24 board here.  See you found this one too.
I haven't heard much about 57 Plymouth since then either.  I think if you remove the rust off that car it'll fall apart.  It's probably all thats holding that car together.

I'd tend to agree with Norm. When I saw them pull this thing out of the ground in OK, I was surprised that it was still in one piece. Somebody should have thought to put a lifejacket on the car before they left it sitting in that pool for all those years!
I'd say that the Prowler they "buried" out there will fare a whole lot better when they dig it up 2048.

When they buried her they thought the vault was waterproof.

Even if the vault hadn't totally flooded, do you think the car would been rusty? Sitting in a damp vault would have taken a toll on the car. Water tends to seep through concrete, and I have a feeling that "Miss Belvedere" was destined to end up a rusty mess. Personally, I like her just the way she is and i hope that they don't do too much to try and repair the damage that was done. The rusty patina is what makes her special.

As much as I hate to say this but I rather see the car in one piece, even if it means the  car will be full of rust all over. As much as I want to have the car restored and polished... from dodge caravan parts dealer
