I have a 74 Dodge Challenger that is running perfectly but on the exterior and interior it needs alot of work such as new carpet, seats, dash, etc. And i am currently a senior in high school. And my question is do u know of any other site besides Paddock Performance parts that could be cheaper and still have the products that are needed for my car? Because i have a tight budget and cant spend a whole lot on parts since some parts are very expensive. Thank you |

Hello Robert, not much you can do on that except maybe use a clean used part whenever possible. When a part is available as a nice reproduction from Year One or someone, decent used ones may be worth less because the big money guy will just buy the new one and the used are valued accordingly. For example, I have a 1957 Pontiac and can easily get a new windshield for a reasonable price. With that being the case, a used windshield is not worth much, but may be perfectly usable and save big $$$. If they were not being reproduced the same used glass would be worth a fortune because the big money guy would be shopping for it and bidding against you. Luckily many E Body parts are being reproduced and cars restored, so there may be some good used stuff available. Congratulations on your project and good luck!
