I find myself an owner of a 40 Pontiac as a result of an impulse bid on Ebay.  It is in generally good condition; particularly when compared to my other Ozark Klunkers.      http://jim72051.googlepages.com/ozarkklunkers       I know almost nothing about Pontiacs.  I expected it to have the same wheels as my Chevys but no; it is a 5 bolt.  I found some 5 bolt 15's that will look better than the 14's on it now but it should have 16's.  My biggest issue is the Hood Latch.  Without one it just won't go down the road.  If anyone has one, broken or not that will get me started I would appreciate it.     http://jim72051.googlepages.com/pontiac1940twodoor     thanks, Jim

No word yet on the latch.  I had a shot at a broken one that I should have picked up.  I am not sure exactly how they look installed and what they latch on to since my hood is all dissassembled.  Anyone have some cell phone pictures they can tack of their latch on a 40 Pontiac?  It appears that there are differences between the 39 40 and 41 that I need to be aware of before plunking down big bucks for one.  I ran into that on my 40 Merc.  The 39 latch doesn't fit.
