I am looking for help to trace a vin number.The vin number on the registration i recieved when i purchase this car at the g.potter king in atlandtic city in february doe not match the vin number stamped in the frame.I would appreciate any help I can get to remedy this situation.I can't get my n.j. title until this is resloved.my caddy was rergistered in n.y. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP I RECIEVE.

Dear Cadilac owner,
JohnFIRST, you should have a plate affixed to the car with a serial number and other build code numbers on it.
I think a Cadilac had it on the cowl, might be in the door jam area though.
Is the plate there?
SECOND, this number should match with the stamped frame number, does it?
Let me know the answer's to the above.
